programme provides a unique opportunity to work with
horses to become aware of how we achieve our leadership
potential and how this aligns with who we are as a person.
Insight provides a safe and supportive environment to
explore this.
Human communication is 93% non-verbal,
yet most of our energy goes into the words which only
account for 7%. This is what makes horses so pertinent
as 100% of their communication is non-verbal and they
don’t understand words, so you can’t smooth-talk
them, play politics with them or hoodwink them. They
are big and powerful and can’t be intimidated.
The powerful learning experience involves
both working with a horse and an Insight facilitator.
During the session the horse’s behaviour gives
the individual and the team constant feedback on communication,
behaviour and leadership style. The interaction with
the horse highlights what works and provides the opportunity
to explore alternative approaches there and then. |
